Vision
The vision of Philosophy Department is to provide an excellent academic atmosphere and to impart quality education. The education must have a holistic approach to make the students globally eligible and competent. We, on behalf of the department of Philosophy are also interested in introducing different certificate courses which are closely allied to the field of Philosophy.

Objectives
To provide quality education in the area of Philosophy with strong fundamentals through a rigorous curriculum that develops the ability to solve logical, psychological and other philosophical problems independently. Upon successful completion of studies, students should

- be able to understand difficult logical and metaphysical problems.
- be able to apply logical and ethical techniques to solve the problems of applied ethics.
