  1. Adoption of village and emphasis on overall community development through NSS and community connect clubs
  2. To declare the campus as green campus with a focus on waste management, optimum use of energy, creation of herbal garden and completely plastic free, barrier free environment

Achievements and Developments from 2016-17 to 2021-22 are as follows

Achievements and Developments in Technology Enabled Teaching and learning

  1. 14 ICT enabled classrooms, some of which are with Smart Classroom facilities
  2. Teachers are trained with and practicing various LMS and are conversant to technology enabled academic practices.
  3. Feedback is taken, analysed and shared with competent bodies for all stakeholders.
  4. A number of e-journals and e-resources have been subscribed.

 

Achievements and Developments in Research and Development

  1. One R&D project has been obtained from DST (SERB-SRG scheme).
  2. 5 IPRS filed and published
  3. An active member of Institutional Innovation Council, MoE.
  4. UDYAM Registration of one Startup crated by students.

 

Achievements and Developments in Value added programmes, capacity development programmes

  1. More than 30 Value addition programme and certificate courses conducted by different departments of the Institute
  2. 50+ programmes arranged on soft skill, life skill development, training for competitive examinations.

 

Achievements and Developments in Human Resource Planning and Development

  1. Almost all Teachers and staffs are provided with financial assistance for attending/presenting papers in seminar conferences.
  2. FDP/SDP organized inhouse on administrative training, domain knowledge enhancement and sessions on Outcome Based Education (OBE)
  3. Welfare measures as approved by the GB and Govt. rules are provided to teachers & staff.
  4. Incentive scheme adopted to encourage teachers and towards publication and innovation.

 

Achievements and Developments in Community Engagement & Green Initiatives

  1. NSS is extremely vibrant and conducted more than 60 programmes
  2. Implemented plan in areas of solid waste management, e-was management
  3. Optimum use of energy resources, establishment of solar panel and its feeding into the grid.

Technology Enabled Teaching and learning

  1. To promote digital learning to the next level, creation of more ICT enabled class rooms and enhance the facilities of smart screen/smart boards to larger number of students.
  2. Sustainable development plan with emphasis on feedback mechanism
  3. Emphasis on ideation, prototype development and project based/case study based learning with live societal and industrial exposure through internships.
  4. Proper implementation of several attributes of National Education Policy (NEP 2020) in consonance with the guidelines of affiliating University.

 

Research and Development

  1. Measurable research outcomes: i) Enhancement in number of Publications in indexed journals.
  2. Applications for more research funding across departments preferably in collaborative manner.
  3. At least one International Conference to be organized by all closely connected departments.
  4. More vibrant IIC, organization of regular programmes on Innovation, Startup, Entrepenourship
  5. Filing of IPRs up to 15 by the end of 2024
  6. MSME UDYAM registration of new startups around.
